I am Dodgie Paolo Pidor Dator, a Winnipeg based photographer, I specialize in photojournalistic weddings and contemporary lifestyle portraits . I also do commercial photography and my work has been published in various print materials here in Winnipeg and in my native country, the Philippines. I immigrated here with my family back in Oct 2000 and made Winnipeg our cozy new home. I am happily married to my gorgeous wife Frances Rañosa Dator, who is my inspiration especially for my wedding photography. Frances is the co-photographer in most of my projects, creating a perfect husband and wife photography team. We have a partner events planner in Victoria, BC., En Vied Events and we have great partner studios in the Philippines.
I am very passionate about photography and I am proud to share with you my work through our galleries. I have always been art inclined. I have been trained in various artforms; such as oil, enamel, acrylic painting, sculpture and layout. Photography for me is a way to appreciate the beauty of God's creation and to encapsulate life's moments. Frances has always been technically inclined and also has a great eye for emotional images.
Our wedding photography is a mix of our photojournalistic approach and our expertise in contemporary portraits. We are there to tell your story, working unobtrusively to capture the unguarded life moments. Our portrait work spans from my fashion and glamour to contemporary lifestyle portraits. I am so blessed to have had the chance to work with various models in updating their portfolios. We are location photographers where we literally bring the studio to you. I personally believe that your personality is better reflected in an open space or a place that you are absolutely comfortable in.
